Our mission is to promote diversity and inclusion in all aspects of the solar energy industry.
To achieve this, we:
Engage with women in the industry to build knowledge and expertise.
Identify and develop ‘champions’ among organisations and communities.
Use the skills and passion that we have to allow others to do the same.
Work collaboratively with one another, as well as industry and government stakeholders.
Develop mentorships, networking and training opportunities in various aspects of industry.
Identify project opportunities where we can collaborate.
Work with businesses within the industry to recognise and encourage diversity.
Assist with providing inclusive work environments.
Our Purpose
Australian Women in Solar Energy - AWISE are united towards a common goal of advancing women in all aspects of the solar energy industry, promoting diversity and forward-thinking business practices.
Offering a supportive and inclusive environment for women, we aim to grow a community that encourages skilled women to join and be successful in our industry.
We do this through networking events, advocacy, strategic partnerships and mentorship programs.
