Lily is an Accredited Solar and Battery System Designer and Installer, a Renewable Energy Project Manager, and an Environmental Scientist.

Her career has been dedicated to creating sustainable energy solutions and helping communities transition to clean, renewable energy. Lily’s work includes designing cutting-edge solar and battery systems or managing large-scale renewable energy projects.

Lily’s goal is always the same: to make a positive impact on our environment and ensure a sustainable future for generations to come. Through AWISE, she aims to help women build networks within the industry and enjoy careers as fulfilling as her own.

Lauren Hamilton

Lauren Hamilton is a passionate environmentalist and longtime advocate for women’s leadership in business. After nine years running her own digital marketing agency, she entered the energy sector in 2022 with Smart Ease, helping businesses unlock finance for solar. She now leads marketing and partnerships at Smart Commercial Energy — Australia’s largest independent provider of commercial solar and battery solutions — where she combines strategic thinking with a drive to make clean energy easier to understand and adopt.

Lauren is also a respected industry speaker and mentor, having presented at events including Climate Action Week, Solar & Storage Live and the Smart Energy Council Expo. She’s known for bringing clarity, warmth, and a commercial lens to the energy transition — and for helping others, especially women, find their voice and confidence in the sector. As a board member of AWISE (Australian Women in Solar Energy), she’s committed to building a more inclusive, visible, and equitable future for the industry.

Annie Atienza is a licensed electrical engineer and IT Success Manager at OpenSolar, where she supports the deployment and optimisation of solar software solutions across a global customer base.

With a background that bridges engineering and technology, Annie brings a practical, systems-focused approach to scaling solar adoption and improving user outcomes. She has a strong interest in how digital tools can accelerate the clean energy transition while making the industry more accessible and efficient.

Annie is also a passionate advocate for mentoring emerging professionals and increasing female participation in STEM. She is committed to creating more inclusive pathways into the industry and supporting the next generation of clean energy leaders.

Marlene is a Global Marketing Director with +15 years of experience leading brand, product, digital, and commercial strategy across a diverse range of industries (from action sports, luxury fragrance, hair & make up, and renewable energy)

Passionate about sustainability and the great outdoors, Marlene is also an ESG Lead with expertise in solar manufacturing traceability and ESG/Governance reporting. Marlene ensures to bring a purpose‑led approach to global marketing with community‑impact initiatives.

Radhika Gupta

Radhika Gupta is a Principal Advisor at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), working at the forefront of Australia’s energy transition. With deep experience in energy markets and system transformation, Radhika plays a key role in navigating the shift toward a more complex, renewable-led grid.

Her work focuses on translating technical, regulatory and market change into practical outcomes that support industry, government and broader system reliability. She brings a strong understanding of how policy, infrastructure and market dynamics intersect, and what that means for the future of clean energy in Australia.

Radhika’s perspective is grounded in both strategy and implementation, making her a valuable contributor to conversations around the evolution of the energy system and the role of diverse leadership within it.
