Our flagship event is back for another year!
This is THE event for women in solar and clean energy in general - and male allies are most definitely welcome.
This year we’re trying out a new Melbourne venue with fabulous new food, inspiring speakers, interactive learning opportunities and networking (and yes, there will be champagne, we heard you).

Tarla is the Editor-in-Chief of Women’s Agenda, one of Australia’s leading digital media platforms for women, and co-founder of Agenda Media.
A journalist, editor and media entrepreneur, she is passionate about using storytelling to advance conversations around equality, leadership, tech, climate, politics and women’s health.
In 2020, she was shortlisted for B&T magazine’s #30Under30 Awards in the Entrepreneur category. She regularly appears on ABC News Breakfast and speaks at events focused on women’s equality and leadership.

We're kicking off day two of Smart Energy Conference & Exhibition 2026 with AWISE, the Smart Energy Council, Supply Partners, and New Energy Training for a breakfast that's equal parts catch-up and inspiration. It's also a first for us — we've joined forces with the Terrapinn crew, who (host the Solar & Storage Live Women in Renewables Breakfast) to bring everyone together under one bigger, better roof.
We'll be welcoming three new faces to the AWISE board — Annie Atienza, Radhika Gupta, and Marlene Brangetto — with Annie and Marlene sharing their take on leadership and shaking up industry culture. Then Radhika will host a panel that shares the story of how an all-female team (including our own Lily Pejkic) took part in building the Pacific’s first ever all female solar project for Ratu Naivalu Memorial School in Fiji,
